Beach Clean Up and Community Garden Projects
Mission Statement:
All For Kids and the City of Huntington Beach are dedicated to providing interns with valuable experiences that connect them with community leaders in the field of Environmental Justice and Community Outreach. This opportunity not only helps students explore potential career paths but also equips them with the tools to make a meaningful impact in their community. Through HB Youth in Eco Action, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of environmental stewards and community advocates.
Program Information:
All For Kids, in collaboration with the City of Huntington Beach (HB), is excited to introduce an innovative educational program that connects youth to cultural and environmental resources. The HB Youth in Eco Action (HBYEA) program provides free workshops and field trips to HB youth ages 8-21.
Throughout the school year, participants can look forward to monthly field trips to vibrant locations such as Huntington City Beach, Bolsa Chica Wetlands, Laguna Coast Wilderness Park, and an overnight experience at Huntington Central Park. These excursions not only promote outdoor learning but also encourage a deeper appreciation for nature and local ecosystems.
In addition to outdoor programming, HBYEA offers a diverse range of workshops that delve into essential topics, including healthy lifestyles, substance use prevention, environmental arts, mental health awareness, and more. These workshops are designed to empower youth with knowledge and skills that are crucial for personal development and community involvement.

Workshops + Subcontractors:
All For Kids presents an engaging series of Healthy Habits workshops designed specifically for the youth of Huntington Beach. Our program covers a comprehensive range of topics to support the overall well-being of children and adolescents. Participants will explore healthy eating principles, learn nutritious cooking techniques, and discover the benefits of mindfulness and meditation. The workshops also emphasize the importance of regular physical activity, effective sleep habits, and positive social media practices. Additionally, youth will engage in goal-setting exercises and self-esteem building activities, all aimed at fostering a balanced and confident approach to life. Join us in empowering the next generation with the tools they need to thrive!

BIS Kids’ workshops provide an engaging and interactive environment for children to develop essential social-emotional skills. Through a blend of games, art, music, and storytelling, we foster self-awareness, empathy, emotional regulation, and effective communication. Our program is designed to support children in building resilience, enhancing their decision-making abilities, and promoting positive relationships. By addressing these foundational skills, BIS Kids’ workshops help children navigate challenges, manage stress, and foster a sense of belonging and well-being, laying the groundwork for lifelong success both in and out of the classroom.
The Therapeutic Arts program at OC Children’s Therapeutic Arts Center (OCCTAC) offers a safe space for neurodiverse individuals to meet, socialize, and learn together through various artistic mediums. While our classes do not replace therapy, they provide a supportive environment that fosters joy and aids in socio-emotional development. Programming allows for expression and regulation of emotions, reducing stress and anxiety while boosting the participant’s confidence. This learning opportunity stimulates senses, improves attention span, memory, and problem-solving skills. Join us as we encourage your creativity to blossom and flourish!
Human Options’ “Preventative Education Program” equips youth and community members with the tools and knowledge to foster healthy relationships, recognize the signs of abuse, and intervene safely in harmful situations. Through interactive workshops and engaging discussions, the program addresses critical topics such as understanding the dynamics of unhealthy relationships, identifying red and green flags, setting boundaries, practicing consent, and becoming an active bystander. By empowering individuals to advocate for themselves and others, Human Options aims to break the cycle of relationship violence and promote a culture rooted in respect, trust, and safety. This program reflects the organization’s mission to prevent violence before it begins, fostering stronger, healthier communities.
