Creating a world where every child is safe to grow

Children’s Bureau of Southern California is now All For Kids

Why All For Kids

Imagine a world where every child is safe to grow. That’s been our goal since 1904, and we’re excited to announce a new name that truly embodies this commitment. While the name Children’s Bureau has served us well, it’s time for a change to better reflect our mission and eliminate any confusion.  The word “Bureau” can suggest a governmental connection, and, we are often mistaken for a similar office in the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. This change is not just about addressing these issues; it’s about seizing the opportunity to align our name with our vision and values.

The new name, “All For Kids,” truly captures our dedication to child safety and community well-being. It transcends cultural barriers and clearly represents our role within the community. As we embrace this new chapter, we invite you to join us on this journey. Together, we can continue our mission to ensure the well-being of every child, because everything we do is All For Kids.

You may be wondering why we changed our name to All For Kids, hear what our President and CEO Ron Brown has to say about this new change that we’re all so excited for.
